From our "Collectible Garments" section We received this beautiful blouse from San Antonino Oaxaca, this garment takes around 6 months to make and is made between 3 people, this garment has 5 different embroidery and fabric works.
"Thoughts" are all embroidered flowers
"Do me if you can" in a small embroidery that is very difficult to do, it is found on the chest and back of the blouse
"Tapetillo" is all the fabric in red
"Unraveling" Parts of the blouse are unraveled and then braided
"Embroidery in the fray" are little monkeys embroidered inside the fray.
At Balam we have quite a few Collection garments, either because they have a lot of embroidery work, are ceremonial or difficult to find. We want these garments to never disappear, therefore we like to make them known to our clients.
